Making 3D shapes

Here I am making a Octahedron.

I made a 3D cube. I put markings on it to make it look like a dice.

We made 3D nets as a hands on activity. While we were making them we could look at and identify how many edges, vertices, and faces each shape had.

We are playing with a variety of 2d shapes to make 3d shapes.

Counting $$$

We are counting all this money to find out how much we have. First we made small groups of $1.
They could be - five 20 cents
- two 50 cents
- ten 10 cents
- one $1
Then we added up each pile and found we had $25.
